Best Prime Rib

I don't think there is a better prime rib anywhere in this country! I've been all over the midwest, east coast, out west and never had it this good!

Yummy In The Tummy

Took my family there for a prim rib and loved it! Very busy for such a small place so make a reservation. They made a pretty great Brandy Old Fashion also! Im sure we will be dinning here again!

other than prime rib

We make it to Village Bar whenever we camp nearby... we don't usually order the prime rib but everyone that does seems to be so impressed. Our entrees of chicken and ribs are equally impressive. Love it!!!!!!!

Unbelievable prime rib

I've only eaten at the Village Bar once, probably around 2002 (originally from Dubuque, but haven't lived there since '93). I was visiting the "D town" and went there on a tip from some fellow Dubuquers. I'm a prime rib lover, and having eaten prime rib all across this country (pilot) I can say that the 'rib I had at the Village Bar is as good as any I've had anywhere. It's healthy cut (estimate 3" thick) of rib as tender as any I've had at any prime steakhouse (Flemming's, Smith and Wollensky, Lowry's, Gallagher's, et al). Cozy atmosphere, great rib. Highly recommended.

The best food ever

We went to the Village Bar on a Saturday night, very busy little place, so make sure you have reservations. Service was very impressive and the food was spectacular. You have got to see the size of this prime rib, it is the best that I have ever had. The seafood is wonderful as well. I would go back because everything there is wonderful, great small town ambience. Reservations are suggested unless you want to wait for hours.
