Impressive selection well executed.

Trying to fit dinner in before a Wing game a few Sundays ago we stopped by Slows. Told it would be 45 minutes and after 10 minutes it looked unlikely. Started to leave and hostess followed us out promising an immediate table. Thought this was a good start. Food was SLOW coming out of the kitchen but very much worth the wait. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork were all excellent. Side dish choices were numerous and again excellent.Good selection of beers also a plus. Don't go if speed of service is an issue. Allow the extra time. It's worth it.

Dinner review

My husband and I went to Slows because we had driven by it for awhile and finally decided to try it. I thought the atmosphere was very nice, clean and open. We did have a problem with out service there. When we came in we were told it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait. This was not a problem since we decided to sit at the bar and have a drink and relax. The bartender was helpful with out first drink but after that we had to ask three times for one more drink. The person who took our name at the front forgot about us, and did not realize it until my husband asked him when we would be seated after waiting almost two hours (Even thought we were seated at the bar right in front of him). He just said sorry and said we will be next. After finally getting seated our waiter was not that friendly. I felt like I was bothering him by being there. The food was good, but definately not worth the effort it took to get it. Our waiter never came back to check on us or ask us how the food was. When we were ready to leave it took him 15 minutes to bring back our bill after we asked him for it.

Needless to say we will not be returning to Slows for drinks or dinner. It is too bad because the atmosphere is nice but our experience was so bad we won't be giving it another chance.
